Functions

Ultix-highside is used for prvilegled access operations:

  • Accessing Cloudron as the superadmin
  • Accessing Univention as the domain administrator
  • Accessing numerous internal control planes via interactive web portal or REST API (Proxmox, Rancher, Monitoring Systems, Nextcloud admin, DNS, DHCP, Unifi Controller).
  • SSH to production virtual machines/physical servers
  • RDP as non privileged user to the certificate authority server
  • RDP as sysop to STL workbench systems
  • RDP as sysop to tsys2
  • Serial access to HQ network switch consoles

As such it is a very important system and very sensitive and welll protected.
